Jack

Jack is an 11 year old Irish cob, who came to us in April 2015 and has won many hearts since.
He previously worked at the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) but due to recurring lameness, Jack is now retired and lives happily at SABRC.
Jack is great with our visitors. Despite his size, he is especially good with children and is first to the fence when they arrive. He shares a field with Molly, a Clydesdale cross who he gets on with very well. They can often be seen grooming each other.
Because of his gentle nature, we often demonstrate positive reinforcement training with him to volunteers and visitors. He only does this when he chooses to, but where food’s involved, the chances are he will want to take part!
With your kind sponsorship of Jack, we can ensure that he has the veterinary care and food he requires.
We will continue to ensure that Jack has a safe, force-free environment where he can enjoy a happy retirement.
