Charlie

Charlie has been with SABRC since it began. He is a Zwartble, a rare Dutch breed of sheep. Like his brother Clive, he was destined to be slaughtered before he came to our Forfar rescue centre.
He is a real character - he loves it when visitors come and is always at the fence line to meet and greet them. He enjoys playing in the field with the humans, although sometimes he forgets how big and strong he is!
Charlie lives with Clive, our horses Jack and Molly, and two other sheep Alice and Victoria. Their field has a shelter to protect them from the Scottish weather, as well as plenty of shade.
Like all of our sheep, Charlie loves to browse on leaves and twigs. We ensure that he has regular enrichment in his field so that he and his three sheep friends can enjoy a varied diet.
Your kind donation and adoption of Charlie will ensure that his ongoing veterinary and nutritional requirements are met and that he has a safe and secure home for the rest of his life.
